The United States has appointed Christine J. Toretti as the new U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden

Ambassador Toretti brings extensive leadership experience from both business and public service. She has served as President, CEO, and Chairman of S.W. Jack Drilling Company, and as long-time Chair of the Board of S&T Bank. She has also represented the United States at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and chaired the Budget Committee of the Republican National Committee.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ambassador Toretti has been deeply engaged in philanthropy and leadership development, championing programs that empower women and supporting initiatives in education, healthcare, and the arts.
