The only trade association in Sweden dedicated to U.S.-Swedish trade and investment.

Since 1992, we have promoted U.S.-Swedish trade and investment and U.S. commercial interests in Sweden.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden (AmCham Sweden) provides a networking and knowledge-sharing platform for members of the U.S.-Swedish business community to meet, connect, and learn. To that end, we host numerous activities where members can connect with other executives, business leaders, and government officials. Membership also provides an effective way to expose employees to the international business community, thus enhancing their professional development.

AmCham has a robust working relationship with the Embassy of the United States in Stockholm, including the Ambassador and the Foreign Commercial Service.

Policy Shaping & Insight

AmCham Sweden provides members with opportunities to engage in the policy conversations that shape the U.S.–Swedish business relationship. Through our programs, roundtables, and committees, members can exchange perspectives with government officials, policymakers, and other business leaders on issues that affect their companies and sectors.

Our member-driven committees identify shared priorities, monitor relevant policy developments, and, where appropriate, contribute practical business perspectives to decision-makers.

Members also gain deeper insight into U.S.–Swedish trade and investment, the transatlantic relationship, and the regulatory and policy environment shaping international business.

This includes opportunities to learn more about Swedish business practices, taxation, laws, regulations, and relevant EU developments.

“Simply put, AmCham Sweden provides a network and a set of resources that makes my role as CFO more productive and enriching.”

— Johan Dovander, former CFO Microsoft Sweden
