AmCham Sweden is thrilled to welcome our new team of interns for fall 2025! Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Elias Lundberg, Sofia Nilsson, and Melody Haslam. They each bring a unique background and fresh perspective and we're thrilled to have them on board. Read their bios below and get to know the newest members of the AmCham Sweden family!

Elias Lundberg

My name is Elias Lundberg, and I am currently pursuing an MSc in Operations Management and Control at Stockholm University. I enjoy analytical work and have always had a strong interest in geopolitics. This internship at AmCham Sweden offers a valuable opportunity to connect those interests, broadening my perspective from the micro-level focus of my studies to the broader policy context that shapes international business relations. I look forward to contributing to the AmCham’s work, gaining new insights into U.S.–Swedish trade, and learning from experienced professionals.

Sofia Nilsson

I’m Sofia Nilsson, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business and Management with a focus on International Business at Uppsala University, where I also completed my bachelor’s in the same field. I’ve always been curious about how companies handle opportunities and challenges across borders, and that curiosity has guided my academic path. What excites me about joining AmCham Sweden is the opportunity to be part of a international community, to learn from real-world projects, connect with inspiring people, and deepen my understanding of transatlantic business relations. I’m looking forward to contributing my perspective, learning from others, and making the most of this unique experience.

Melody Haslam

My name is Melody Haslam, and I am a third-year student at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a concentration in Globalization and minoring in European Studies. This semester, I am studying abroad in Stockholm through The Swedish Program in partnership with the Stockholm School of Economics. This fall, I am excited to join AmCham as a Policy and Communications Intern, where I can explore my interest in international relations and policy in a real-world context. I look forward to learning from the AmCham team and members, contributing to meaningful projects, and gaining practical experience in how diplomacy and policy influence international business while strengthening U.S.-Sweden relations.

Welcome!
