In today’s increasingly diverse workplaces, retaining top talent requires more than good intentions: it demands cultural awareness, inclusive leadership, and deliberate action. This interactive session, led by Karolina Sveiby, Berlitz’s Country Manager of Instruction for Finland and Norway, explores how organizations can move from understanding cultural differences to actively leveraging them to build high-performing, engaged teams.
Karolina is an experienced pedagogue and team leader with solid expertise in training and communication. With more than 25 years of experience in the educational and creative fields, Karolina's areas of expertise include: management of international teams, teaching and training & learning and development. Currently Karolina leads an international team of teachers at the Berlitz Language and Culture School where she also organizes sought-after intercultural trainings for business.
Join us in examining how deeply held values, assumptions, and unconscious biases influence everyday decisions, communication styles, and leadership behaviors. Through practical examples and reflection, the program highlights how reframing our “cultural lenses” can improve collaboration, strengthen trust, and create environments where people feel values and motivated to stay.
