Participants will include senior officials from the European Commission, EU Member States, U.S. officials, and executives from SMEs and business associations. There will be a networking reception for U.S. and EU participants on the evening of November 14 prior to the SME workshop on November 15.
Topics for discussion include policies supporting SME start-ups, SME access to finance, intellectual property protection, and entrepreneurship and workforce skills. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and accommodations.
The EU is requesting RSVPs by September 15 if possible with confirmation of registration in mid October.
