On Wednesday, March 19, 2014, participants in the AmCham Sweden Mentor Program received some expert advice at the Stockholm offices of Burson-Marsteller on two topics that are vital for every business executive today - public speaking and interviewing.
Next up for the Mentor Program is a program entitled "The Perspective of an Executive". This workshop will be held on April 16, 2014 at the residence of the Deputy Chief of Mission for the US Embassy in Stockholm - Robert Gilchrist.
Elizabeth Walentin, Director of Public Affairs at Burson-Marsteller first presented a series of public speaking exercises entitled "Getting Your Message Across".
After a break, Eoin Laird, an executive from the recruiting company Michael Page presented "The Essentials of Interviewing: Art or Science?". Both programs included participation from the mentees and mentors in attendance.
