Business Sweden (the Swedish Trade and Invest Council), the Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy and the American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden are pleased to invite you to the third high-level meeting of the core group of the U.S.-Sweden Advanced Manufacturing Initiative.
The meeting will be hosted by GE Healthcare at Testa Center in Uppsala on May 7 and take an operational approach on topics related to Sweden’s R&D financing systems of industrial collaborations within R&D.
Testa Center was inaugurated August 21st last year and is a joint initiative between the Swedish government and GE to create a testbed for the manufacturing of new pharmaceutical products.

About U.S.-Sweden Advanced Manufacturing Initiative (AMI)
In 2018, Business Sweden (the Swedish Trade and Invest Council), the Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy and the American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden launched the U.S.-Sweden Advanced Manufacturing Initiative (AMI). AMI is a 3 year program (2018-2020) with the objectives to:
contribute to increased business between the U.S. and Sweden in high-end manufacturing industries
facilitate a dialogue between decision-makers at manufacturing companies and government representatives to promote optimal business and investment climates for advanced manufacturing in both countries.
