Taking A United Approach To Free Trade
By invitation only
In the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, and throughout the European Union, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is viewed by many as a once-in-a-generation opportunity to boost economic development on both sides of the Atlantic.
This view, however, is not universally shared. After nine rounds of negotiations, the free trade agreement faces challenges that continue to delay its approval.
In particular, these challenges will greatly impact the potential growth for SMEs - the engines that drive economic development, fuel innovation, and accelerate solutions that benefit all of society.
AmCham Sweden and the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce invite you to take part in a discussion on the merits of TTIP and free trade, and obstacles that remain.
The program will be moderated by Markus Uvell. Markus is currently the President of Timbro, a leading Swedish think tank, and will assume the position as Managing Partner for Kreab in Sweden in the early fall. He has previously been Head of Communications for the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, a Senior Partner at Kreab and President of Demoskop.
