On June 30, together with The Swedish Anti-Corruption Institute and Transparency International Sweden, AmCham Sweden will be hosting an entire day focused on anti-corruption. For more details and a full agenda, visit our shared website here.

Also on the afternoon of June 30, Swedavia, the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm, AmCham Sweden and Scandinavian Airlines will participate in a seminar that explores the relationship between Sweden and the United States is profound through trade, research and development. Last year about one million people traveled between Sweden and the US for leisure and business. How can connectivity increase and more people travel direct, without transferring?

On July 2, from 12:50 to 13:35, AmCham Sweden will also participate in a seminar hosted by Stockholm Free World Forum (Tankesmedjan Frivärld): Towards a multipolar world? TTIP and its impact for the transatlantic relationship

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the EU and the US is not only an important economic issue, but also a geopolitical one. How would TTIP impact the EU as a global actor, NATO and the transatlantic partnership? Would TTIP strengthen the West's role in a changing world?

Participants include: Erik Brattberg, Program Director Global Trade and Business, Stockholm Free World Forum; Michael Layne, Economic Officer, US Embassy in Stockholm; Peter Dahlen, Managing Director, American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden. The seminar will be moderated by Katarina Tracz, Director, Stockholm Free World Forum.
