Cutting Edge Virtual Reality: Taking Lessons From the Classroom to the Corporate World

  • Hard Rock Cafe Sveavägen 75 Stockholm, Stockholms län Sweden (map)

Imagine exploring some of the world’s most remote places without having to leave your home or classroom. With the help of virtual reality platforms and tools such as those being applied by National Geographic and Google, there are more possibilities and opportunities for educators and students to discover Earth’s wonders.

AmCham Sweden invites you to join Merci Olsson, Communications and Outreach Director, National Geographic Society Europe, as she showcases a unique collaboration with the Google Cultural Institute. With the assistance of Google Cardboard viewers and expeditions from National Geographic, each attendee at this program will take an immersive virtual journey that demonstrates how teachers are bringing their lessons to life in order to engage students in new experiences.

But the lessons don't stop there. Our Business Rocks Breakfast Sessions sponsor, Screen Interaction, will also share insights on how the corporate world is incorporating virtual reality into business practices.
