How does someone prepare to be a leader? Can one prepare to lead, or is it a natural born characteristic? What are the most important aspects of leading to be most effective with a team? We’ve talked so much about practicing skills that we want to acquire and doing so in all sorts of environments from work, to our social lives. Next week we’ll have an opportunity to dig into all these questions and examine leadership from the skills needed before you’re an official leader, to the skills needed when you are a leader. And we’ll get to practice a bit!

Andrew is a communication specialist, author and speaker. His latest book is titled “Payforward Networking” and is a speaker-in-demand for speeches ranging from: ‘How Culture Impacts Technology and Innovation’ to leadership and communications.
Ashley acquired his leadership experience from execution roles in the Corporate world (Arthur Andersen- Audit, 3i plc Private Equity, Specsavers - International Business Development; from the Board room - as Chairman; from being on Expedition in Africa. Ashley is also a speaker-in-demand motivating leaders with passion and purpose.
